The Sevogel Practice is a family practice with a wide range of general medical services. We ad-vise people of all ages on questions and problems relating to their health.

Trusting, personal support is very important for us in the Sevogel Practice. We want you to feel completely at ease with us. We also appreciate the increasingly multicultural environment in the district.
We value a pleasant and calm atmosphere in the practice, as well as a respectful and compassionate approach – with our patients as well as with each other.
Practice history
The Sevogel Practice is a family practice managed in the second generation. After its founding in 1979, the practice was managed for 40 years with passion by Dr. med. Carlos Blattmann.
Dr. med. Luc Blattmann took over the practice in 2020. He had previously worked for several years as a senior physician in Basel University Hospital.
Academic teaching practice
We are an academic teaching practice for the Institute of Family Medicine at the University of Basel. We offer individual tutorials for medical students and practice assistant positions for doc-tors.
General practitioner model
We are contracted doctors under the HMO health plan and will be happy to take care of you if you are insured under a general practitioner model.
